Characters
Two men past their quarter-life crisis — Mathias, a businessman balancing capitalism and charity, and Lucius, a surgeon with serpent tattoo on his forearm — met in a solemn chapel. Their meeting was not extraordinary, yet for Mathias it felt as though he had encountered a devil who would challenge his Garden of Eden. For Lucius, however, it felt like meeting an angel. Their romance was not a tale of good versus evil, or black versus white, but of two humans with many shades of gray.
